Kevin is originally a Wisconsin native.  He attended the University of Wisconsin – Madison and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics.   Prior to becoming a partner at Legacy Tax, Kevin spent five years working at Buelow Tax Service.  He earned his Enrolled Agent certification in 2012.

Kevin has held a Florida Life, Health and Annuity insurance license and the Series 7 securities license.  He is well suited to work with clients that have more complex sources of investment income.  He specializes in individual, trust, and estate tax returns.  “Every tax return is important, because it is your tax return.  The more complex a return is, the more fun it is because of the challenge.”

Kevin has successfully mentored dozens of other tax preparers in studying and preparing for their Enrolled Agent exams.  Like all Enrolled Agents, he is required to take continuing education courses each year to stay informed of the ever-changing rules and regulations of the IRS.  Kevin is also a member of The National Association of Tax Professionals.

Marilyn started doing taxes in 2001, and prior to becoming a partner at Legacy Tax, had spent ten years as a tax consultant at Buelow Tax Service.  She attended Mt. San Antonio College before starting a 29 year career in the airline industry, where she developed her expertise in customer service as a flight attendant.  Marilyn is also a member of The National Association of Tax Professionals.

Marilyn also holds a Florida Life, Health and Annuity insurance license and is appointed with United Healthcare.  She specializes in serving clients who are Medicare eligible and is the go to person for your health insurance needs.

She moved to Florida from Connecticut in 1988.  Marilyn met her husband, Bill, a pilot, while working for the airlines, and they have been married for 25 years.  They both enjoy playing golf and tennis and spending time traveling around the country in their RV when it is not tax season.

Monica originates from Romania, where she earned her Master’s Degree in Economics and Accounting.  There she started her own Accounting and Business Service firm, and over ten years she had many satisfied clients and also earned her CPA.  In addition also in Romania, Monica taught Accounting at a prestigious Business University for 3 years.  After she met her husband, Cris, she moved to the United States and started a new chapter in her life.  They traveled around the US for many years with her husband’s work, and then decided in 2010, that Florida would be their new home.  Monica started working in taxes in 2010 for a national tax firm.  Prior to becoming a partner at Legacy Tax, Monica worked three years for Buelow Tax Service.  Monica is also a member of The National Association of Tax Professionals

In her spare time Monica enjoys spending time with her husband of 20 years and their apple-head Chihuahua, Bindy, traveling both in the US and abroad, cooking and gardening.
